1. Nature of Digital Restoration Services
All restoration, remastering, and enhancement processes performed by musHan-Bit involve individual work from our team of sound and video engineers. Every step — from analyzing the source material to delivering the final master — is tailored specifically to your file, your requirements, and your intended use. Once digital work has been performed and the final files have been delivered, the service is considered completed and non-returnable, as the result cannot be “unmade” or resold to another client.
However, we want every customer to feel confident and satisfied. That’s why we maintain an open, transparent, and cooperative approach for all refund or revision inquiries.
2. Requesting a Review or Adjustment
If you are not fully satisfied with the delivered result, or believe that an error occurred during processing, you may contact our support team within 7 calendar days from the date of file delivery. Please include your order number, the original source material, and a brief description of the issue.
Our quality control department will re-examine the project, comparing the input and output files, and provide a response within 3–5 business days.
If the issue is confirmed to be technical (for example, incomplete processing, missing segments, or unintended distortion), we will offer one of the following options, depending on the circumstances:
- a complimentary revision or reprocessing of your file;
- a partial refund equal to the value of the unfinished portion of the work;
- a service credit to be used for future restoration projects.
3. Limitations of Refund Eligibility
Please note that due to the artistic and technical nature of sound and video restoration, refunds cannot be issued in the following cases:
- The client provided poor-quality or corrupted source material that could not be restored to a professional standard.
- The client changed their expectations or creative vision after work was completed.
- The requested modifications fall outside the original service description or require a new order.
- The client did not provide correct or complete instructions before the work began.
- The client approved a preview or intermediate version, after which the final version was processed.
In these cases, our team will gladly assist by recommending suitable options for additional improvement, discounted upgrades, or reprocessing if the material allows.
4. Transparency and Client Communication
To ensure smooth collaboration, we encourage all clients to communicate their needs clearly before and during the restoration process. You can request sample previews, technical explanations, or progress updates at any time. musHan-Bit believes that open communication prevents misunderstandings and ensures every project reaches its highest possible standard.
Our specialists take the time to explain the realistic limits of restoration based on the source quality — whether your material comes from analog tape, a VHS recording, a mobile recording, or a studio session. We believe that transparency builds trust, and that’s why we never promise impossible results — only honest, professional improvement within the limits of technology.
5. Refund Processing Time and Method
If a refund or partial refund is approved, it will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account. musHan-Bit will notify you by email as soon as the transaction has been initiated.
